FAQS
My seamless fabric shorts have lines/wrinkle marks on it?
Don’t panic, these are not stained, they are simply crease lines that have occurred from the manufacturing process. Our seamless fabric shorts are dyed, dried and ironed before they are folded and placed inside their bag.
Temporary crease lines/wrinkles may have formed from the way the fabric has been stored and folded.
A gentle wash or 2 and air drying out of the sun may help smooth out any creases or winkles.
My define bra & core shorts aren’t completely matching?
While the same color dye is used, the nature of the fabrics can cause subtle differences in the appearance of the color. This is why there may be a very slight colour variation between seamless and non seamless fabric items that may be visible when the fabric is placed up against each other.
To achieve a 100% color match, it's recommended to pair items from the same collection and color name. For instance, the Core Halter bras and Core shorts should match perfectly, as they are made from the same fabric. Similarly, the Define sports bras and Define shorts are likely to have a consistent color since they share the same fabric.
How do I correctly wash my products to prevent colour fading & bleeding?
It's not uncommon for fabrics, especially those with vibrant colors, to experience some fading over time. The dyeing process and the type of fabric used can contribute to this natural phenomenon. To help preserve the color of your garments, particularly those with bright colors, it's recommended to take certain precautions:
- Wash Separately: Wash the garments separately, especially during the first wash, to prevent color bleeding onto other clothes. This is particularly important for bright or dark colors that may bleed more initially.
- Cold Delicate Cycle: Use a cold and delicate cycle for washing. Cold water is less likely to cause the color to bleed or fade, and the delicate cycle is gentler on the fabric.
- Avoid Warm Water: As mentioned, warm water can contribute to color fading. Using cold water for washing is generally more effective in preserving the vibrancy of the colors.
- Different Color Longevity: Be aware that different fabrics and dyeing processes may result in varying levels of color longevity. Some colors may fade more quickly than others, depending on the specific characteristics of the fabric and dye used.
Extra tip for colour longevity: add a tablespoon of salt to your wash cycle. The chloride in the salt helps to hold the colour In for longer.
By following these guidelines, you can extend the life of the vibrant colors in your garments. Additionally, always check the care instructions provided by the manufacturer for any specific recommendations tailored to your particular items.
Why has the fabric changed colour after washing them?
If your shorts or sport bras has changed colour after washing, it’s important to consider a few factors. As mentioned, fabric fading over time, especially with vibrant colors, is a normal occurrence. However, if there's a noticeable change in color after a single wash, it may be due to external factors such as color transfer or a chemical reaction. Here are some possibilities to consider:
- Color Transfer: Other items in the wash may have bled color onto your shorts. Always separate dark and light-colored garments to avoid color bleeding. Washing the shorts alone for the first few washes, especially if they are new, can help prevent color transfer.
- Chemical Reactions: Contact with chemicals, such as bleach or certain fabric softeners, can lead to color changes. Ensure that you're using a mild detergent without bleach, and avoid using fabric softeners unless recommended by the care instructions.
- Water Temperature: High temperatures can cause color bleeding and fading. Ensure that you're washing your shorts in cold water, as warm water can contribute to color changes.
- Follow Care Instructions: Always follow the care instructions provided by the manufacturer. Some fabrics may require specific washing conditions to maintain their color.
How do I care for my seamless fabric shorts to get the most wear out of them?
Seamless fabric is indeed delicate and requires special care to ensure the durability of seams and fabric. Here are some guidelines to prevent ripping and pulling:
- Handling with Care: Treat your seamless shorts like you would delicate stockings. Avoid having long nails that could potentially stab or snag the fabric. Be gentle when putting them on and adjusting the fabric; refrain from pulling on the fabric roughly.
- Proper Sizing: Ensure you have the correct size for a comfortable fit. For core scrunch leggings and shorts, we recommend sizing up if you are between sizes. Wearing leggings or shorts that are too small may lead to tears in the scrunch or leg seam.
- Mindful Movements: Before squatting or engaging in activities, make sure you have carefully pulled the shorts up into place. This helps distribute the stress on the fabric more evenly.
- Avoid Rough Surfaces: Refrain from sitting on or brushing up against rough surfaces such as velcro or concrete, as these can cause damage to the fabric.
- Fade Expectations: Please be aware that due to the nature of the fabric and the dye process, seamless items may fade quicker than non-seamless items. This is normal and inevitable. Following the care guide provided above will contribute to the longevity of your products.

What’s the difference between the core shorts and recoil shorts?
While both the core shorts and recoil shorts share the same fabric, we've introduced subtle upgrades to the recoil shorts based on customer preferences for an enhanced fit and features. Here are the key distinctions:
- Scrunch Technology: The recoil scrunch shorts utilize brand-new stitching technology, creating a shorter length that sits even better between the glutes. This results in a more subtle yet impactful scrunch effect.
- Deeper V Cut: The back of the shorts features a deeper V cut, designed to shape and accentuate the booty even more, providing a flattering look.
- Enhanced Compression: Underneath the booty contouring, the structure of the fabric is slightly thicker in the recoil shorts. This addition offers enhanced compression and lift, emphasizing the glutes.
- Recoil Waistband: The waistband of the recoil shorts sits slightly lower, and the bottom of the waistband dips further down at the front. This design provides increased lower core control, offering both support and a flattering fit.
- Shorter Length: The recoil shorts are 3cm shorter in total length compared to the core shorts. This reduction in fabric contributes to a lower waistband look and a more hugging appearance around the glutes, resulting in better glute separation without the need for a noticeable scrunch look.
- BBL Look: The recoil shorts are designed to achieve the lifted Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) look. They do run slightly smaller, so if you're unsure about sizing, we recommend sizing up if you're between sizes or prefer a more comfortable fit. If you're aiming for the lifted BBL look, sticking to your regular size is recommended.
